Chennai, Feb 13:
Web enthusiasts in Chennai have
launched an online platform www.inspiringnotes.com
for their community to share and source knowledge.
The site is a free access destination
in the virtual world, accessible at the click of a
mouse, which seeks to offer people the opportunity
to seek knowledge in a variety of forms on a wide
range to topics.
The inspiring notes are presented
in the form of articles, presentations, flash, shows,
cartoons and stories. 'The joy of sharing is immense
and knowledge share is knowledge gained. Hence, we
thought of a virtual space where everyone has the
opportunity to share and source content and thus the
site was born,' said V M Lalitha, one of the founders
of inspiringnotes.com.
The content is stored under various
folders for easy reference such as Philosophies for
Life; People Management; Knowledge; Sales Management;
Marketing; Health; Books; Spirituality; Fun and Contests;
and Articles from contributors. 'Inspiring notes was
created to collect, create, classify and share the
inspiring knowledge freely to all. With right presentation
material, stories and others for discussions, the
site will seek to be a destination for all people
who visit it,' said Sankar, the other mind that conceived
inspiringnotes.com
The website, which was informally
launched on January 2005, has attracted over a thousand
visitors through word-of-mouth alone. The site contains
over 400 interesting articles, presentations and stories
as on date, and is increasing every day.
The site has been put together by
V Sankar, a chartered accountant, and V M Lalitha,
who hope to make the site a one-stop resource for
information that will inspire, inform and aid for
both personal and professional knowledge-seekers. |
